Robbie Maxx is an artist, songwriter and entrepreneur. Born and raised in the small town of Westwood, NJ, Robbie had a passion for music and football from an early age. Robbie began experimenting and performing while attending Montclair State University by rapping to his football teammates as well as performing to the students on campus with his energetic and witty style. Eventually, he began recording and releasing his own music which led to Robbie finding a home in 2011 at the legendary Booga Basement, the home of “The Fugees”.
Things started to rev up when a spontaneous YouTube video got posted where Robbie is rapping with Chris Webby and the late Mac Miller at Mac Miller’s show at SOB’s in NYC. This attention would motivate Robbie to go harder, and harder he went. He began releasing remixes of classic hip hop records and eventually landed on MTV Jams and MTV Hits for his singles “Long Day” and “Pretty Thang”. Robbie soon began ramping up on shows and touring with acts like Waka Flocka, Machine Gun Kelly, Sammy Adams, Lil Baby, A$AP Mob, Gashi, Sugar Hill Gang, and Wyclef Jean as well as headlining the New Jersey based Anti-Bullying “Rise Above All” tour with supporting acts NBDY and Daniel Munoz. With this attention and “Pretty Thang” spinning regularly on New York City’s Hot 97, Robbie was soon being sought out by both independent and major labels. In early 2017, Robbie entertained what looked like a great opportunity with an up and coming label but it would soon come to an end after 6 months when differences between both parties ensued.
He soon began working on Wall Street as Regional Sales Manager and as a content creator with powerhouse The Blinc Group while still performing, writing and polishing up his pen. Upon leaving that venture in the Summer of 2018, Robbie embarked on his own journey in the canna space and started working with many THC and CBD brands doing account management and sales which included a partnership with The Kind Pen, a very successful and well known hardware manufacturing company based on the East Coast. Robbie is now an entrepreneur in the process of opening a facility that combines a boxing gym with a music recording studio in NJ with partners Enzo Amore (former WWE superstar, aka real1) and Baby Wonder (producer). Robbie Maxx also owns a clothing brand, Destination: Happiness.
Robbie combines music into his businesses and continues to perform and song write. Stay tuned.
